NEW STUDIO - Stirchley Sewing School, 1387 Pershore Road, B30 2JR
This is a one day workshop learning how to use make your own pair of trousers!
You may have completed an Absolute Beginners class and want to make your first garment, or have made a few projects before but never made trousers. You will have a recap on how to thread and use the machine if it’s been a while!
You will make the Style Arc Bob pants - a barrel style leg shape with pockets and an elasticated waistband. They are the perfect trousers for all seasons… think Beyond Nine vibes!
In this one day class, you will learn:
How to cut a pattern and take your measurements
Elasticated waistbands
In seam pockets
How to shorten or lengthen a leg pattern
You will receive further information after booking regarding fabric choices.
The session includes use of the sewing machine, all equipment and a copy of the trouser pattern. You will be offered unlimited cups of tea/coffee and biscuits. There is a lunch break and you are welcome to bring your own, store in fridge and use microwave, or pop out to the local high street!
